ORANGE BICENTENNIAL RESTAURANT & BUSINESS WEEK

Attention Orange businesses! The Orange Economic Development Corporation and the Orange Chamber of Commerce are pleased to work with the Town’s Bicentennial Committee as representing the Orange business community and are organizing a Restaurant and Business Week. The event will be held from May 28th to June 10th, and we invite Orange businesses to participate by providing a special Bicentennial offer (an item for $18.22), sale, or special menu. We will promote your offer via flyers, social media, newsletters, eblasts, our websites, and press releases at no cost to you. The goal is to get the entire Orange community to celebrate in this very special occasion. To register, go to RESTAURANT/BUSINESS WEEK REGISTRATION .

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION INSTALLATION

Attention Orange businesses! Show off your sustainability and attract new customers. Adding electric vehicle (EV) charging stations to your place of business can increase the amount of time customers spend at your location and may even serve as a new revenue stream.

Business and plaza owners interested in installing EV Charging Stations should take advantage of the incentives offered by United Illuminating before they are gone by applying to their Make-Ready Program. Businesses can now install EV charging stations with up to 100% reimbursement of costs for the electrical improvements needed to support EV charging and up to 50% reimbursement of installed electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).

For more information, download the PROGRAM PARTICIPATION GUIDE to assist with qualifications and incentive details. You may also call the OEDC with any questions as well (203-891-1045). Get started and APPLY HERE
