COVID19 PHASE II BUSINESS IMPACT SURVEY: A survey was developed by AdvanceCT in partnership with DECD and CBIA. The goal is to provide feedback to the state and policymakers regarding how Connecticut businesses have been impacted by the pandemic crisis. Survey results will be compiled and it will help the state to modulate its response, track how businesses have been affected and prioritize recovery initiatives. Please take the survey, the more responses they have, the more meaningful data. Take The Survey

 

PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM (PPP):Although the program closed on April 16, the SBA is recommending businesses still apply, as they are awaiting congregational action to resupply the lending pool. If your bank is not accepting applications, the SBA recommends you apply with another bank. The following is a list of banks with links accepting applications from non-customers:

 

BUSINESS RESPONSE PROGRAM LINE OF CREDIT: A financial program for minority-owned and women-owned small businesses negatively impacted by the pandemic. HEDCO, Inc. has partnered with Governor Lamont, DECD and the CT Minority Business Initiative. Under the COVID19 Business Response Program, a qualifying small business with 20 or fewer employees may apply for a zero-interest line of credit for up to $20,000. This $2 million program will be allocated to minority-owned and women-owned small businesses and is administered and underwritten by HEDCO, Inc. COVID19 Business Response Program Line of Credit

 

CLOTH FACE COVERINGS REQURED AS OF 4/20: Effective 8 pm on April 20th, anyone in a public place is required to cover their mouth and nose with a mask or cloth face-covering. Executive Order 7BB

ONE-ON-ONE CUSOMER SERVICE PROGRAM: The Department of Revenue Services (DRS) launched the program to help businesses and individual taxpayers understand what resources are available to them if they can’t meet their current collections obligations. One-on-One Customer Service Program

 

PPE MATERIALS: A new website, www.ctcovidresponse.org, was launched to connect Connecticut manufacturers and suppliers with healthcare institutions to produce the medical supplies and PPE first responders need. 

  

CONNECTICUT POSITIVE COVID CASES: A website that tracks positive cases of COVID by Town throughout Connecticut.
