The Role of the OEDC
The Orange Economic Development Corporation works on behalf of the Town of Orange, to encourage economic growth in the community's commercial, industrial, and retail zones.
We accomplish this through a variety of methods
- Facilitate communication between the private sector, First Selectman's Office and local land use boards.
- Assist in the identification of available and suitable properties to conduct business.
- Administer specific development activities to support the growth and expansion of the industrial zone.
- Develop marketing tools and initiatives to support ongoing business recruitment activities.
- Identify resources for business to succeed in the Town of Orange, which may include financing, realtor services, utility contacts, or government assistance.
In essence, the OEDC will help to identify your particular needs and then help guide you through varying stages of development.
