Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Remember to shop small this holiday season and support those local businesses. EMPLOYMENT LISTINGS
Coming soon to the OEDC Website, Orange businesses will have the opportunity to list their employment opportunities on our site, free of charge. We will publish the web link on our social media pages and in our newsletters. Information to come soon.
ARTISAN FEST & VENDOR FAIR
Save the date for our second annual Artisan Fest & Vendor Fair on Thursday, June 23, 2022, 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Exhibitors include a great mix of businesses, artisans, makers, and farmers from the area. The all-outdoor event will feature 60+ vendors, food trucks and live music. Vendor registration will open in January.
STATE OF CT BUSINESS REGISTRATION
The State's business registration system has been upgraded and is now fully integrated with Business.CT.gov (the state's business portal that serves as a one-stop-shop for businesses to navigate state requirements). The portal was launched in the summer of 2020. Connecticut business owners now have a seamless end-to-end experience from how to start a business, registering their business, and managing all of their critical compliance needs. CHECK IT OUT HERE
