CONNECTICUT CARES SMALL BUSINESS GRANT PROGRAM: The Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) has been to accept applications for the Connecticut CARES Small Business Grant Program. Eligible applicants (businesses and nonprofits) will receive a one-time $5,000 grant. If approved, funding will be received by December 30, 2020 and repayment is not required. Apply ASAP as there will be many applicants. They are anticipating closing applications by Thursday, 11/19 at 5 pm. 
PPE SUPPLIERS: DECD has compiled a downloadable list of suppliers to assist business owners with obtaining cleaning supplies, PPE equipment, plexiglass barrier materials and more. LIST OF SUPPLIERS

 

FREE COVID TESTING - ORANGE RESIDENTS: For Bethany, Orange and Woodbridge residents only a free COVID 19 Pop-up drive thru test will be available today, Wednesday November 18, 2-6 p.m. at Amity Regional High School, 25 Newton Road, Woodbridge. TOWN OF ORANGE WEBSITE

 

NEW COVID PHONE APP: The state launched new technology to help stop the spread of COVID-19 among residents and families. With support from Apple and Google, COVID ALERT CT, a notification app to inform you of possible exposure to COVID-19 – all without disclosing your location or personal information. The app is available for Android and iPhone users.
